As an IVF mum of two wonderful boys, Thomas (9 years old) and Ben, I run Thomas Online from our home in Whangarei, where we moved from Auckland nine years ago. The move to the “winterless north” was the best decision we ever made, and it allows me to balance my family life with running this exciting business.

When I bought Thomas Online Eight years ago, the business was in a tired state, selling Thomas & Friends products. I purchased the business name and leftover stock, but I had to rebuild it from scratch, including this website which i have put so much effort and thought into for your customer experience. My son, Thomas, went through a Sesame Street phase, and I struggled to find any products locally. I couldn’t even find anything for his best friend, who loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse. That’s when I realized there was a huge gap in the market for licensed products like these. And that’s how Thomas Online began to expand into the diverse range of products we now offer.
