Hi there!

My name is Kylie, I am a IVF mum of two boys and am the owner of Thomas Online. I am the main Employee with Part time support from my Hubby and Kids. 

Our 8 year old is also named Thomas! He was named wayyy (okay a year before) before Thomas the Business came along, but it’s pretty cool the way it all worked out. We also have a younger son, named Ben.

We moved from the big smoke of Auckland to the winterless north of Whangarei 7 years ago, and it was the best decision we ever made! I get to juggle my time with the boys while also owning this exciting business.

I purchased Thomas Online 6 years as a tired business selling Thomas & Friends Products. I purchased only the name ‘Thomas Online’ and the dregs of stock they had left over and had to completely built it from the ground up. I then expanded as I found there was a huge gap in the market for License brands that weren’t available in stores. My Tommy went through a Sesame Street phase, and I couldn’t find one thing in the shops for him. His best friend loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse and I couldn’t find anything for her at the time either! We searched high and low without success, and we didn’t want to pay ridiculous amounts from overseas! I already had a lot of suppliers, and they had the products, so I put two and two together, and I love being able to make adults and children happy with providing an available, affordable range. and only genuine products!

I purchase from the same New Zealand and Australian suppliers as all the big guys too. I love to support NZ and Australian Businesses and only purchase products locally – All Genuine products, made to high and Acceptable standards.

The best part about this business and having the boys is that we get to play with the merchandise and ensure what I am buying is a great product for you and the children you are buying it for. I only buy products that I would confidently give my Boys or their friends’. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
