All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By using thomasonline.co.nz or purchasing products or services from us, you accept these Terms and Conditions. You should read these Terms and Conditions in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and Shipping and Payment Policy.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.


The laws of New Zealand apply to these Terms and Conditions. Any dispute arising in relation to these Terms and Conditions and your use of this site will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Thomas Online reserves the right to change any or all of the information contained herein at any time and so you should regularly check the current terms and conditions. Thomas Online reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders at their sole discretion. Any orders cancelled by Thomas Online, but paid for, will receive a full refund.

Each time you use thomasonline.co.nz you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions applicable at that time. We provide a link to these Terms & Conditions at the bottom of every page of the website.


You agree to indemnify, keep indemnified, defend and hold harmless Thomas Online and its subsidiaries, affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees, owners, agents, information providers and licensors (collectively the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, damages, liability, losses, costs and expenses (including legal fees) (whether or not foreseeable or avoidable) incurred or suffered by any Indemnified Party and any claims or legal proceedings which are brought or threatened arising from your use of, connection with or conduct on the website or any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions.


All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). International purchases shipped to non NZ destinations are GST exempt. When paying by credit card the amount charged will be in New Zealand dollars, and your bank will convert the amount charged to the currency of the country the card is held in. International exchange rates fluctuate on a daily basis, but if you would like to know approximately how much you will be charged in your home currency, please refer to a currency converter of your choice or click here for the Yahoo Currency Converter.

We reserve the right to increase or introduce new prices for our products and services at any time. In the event that a Thomas Online product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Thomas Online reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Thomas Online will issue a refund to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Errors and updates

We reserve the right to add or remove material, and correct errors. If you find any errors on any part of the Thomas Online site, please report them to info@thomasonline.co.nz.

No liability for damage

We will use our best efforts to keep thomasonline.co.nz free from viruses and errors. However, we do not accept liability for any damage or loss caused to your computer hardware, software, Internet connections or other peripherals as a result of your use of thomasonline.co.nz


All Thomas Online Club subscribers will automatically receive our “Update” newsletter. Our newsletter includes information on current specials, new arrivals and special product information. To subscribe simply subscribe on the Front Page of our website. To unsubscribe, either reply to an email newsletter received or send an email to info@thomasonline.co.nz with “unsubscribe me” in the subject line.

Review Email

After your order has been sent and your order ‘completed’ a review email will be sent out 5 days later to ask how your order and products are, and if you were happy with them and the process. This is to assist future customers to trust Thomas Online.


Thomas Online orders are always despatched using reputable delivery companies and couriers with strict delivery policies and schedules, and customers will be advised when orders are despatched and wherever possible tracking information provided. It is very rare for things to go missing or to be damaged through transit, however if you are concerned that this may have happened, simply send us an email with your order number and we will immediately follow up with the delivery company involved.

All orders are sent out with request for signature on delivery, you must be available to receive your order in person when it arrives. If you wish for us to remove the Signature required option, please write it in the comments of your order. If your unavailability leads to the deliverable goods being returned to us, then all shipment costs will be payable by you. We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an address which has been supplied incorrectly.


We have various options available for making payment for your order.

Credit Card

When you have finished adding items to your shopping cart on our website, you will need to proceed to checkout to complete your order. During the checkout process, you will be transferred to the secure Digital Payment Solutions (DPS) Payment Express gateway where you will be prompted to enter your credit card billing details.

Direct Credit

Payment via direct credit (Internet Banking or Bank Deposit) into our bank account (Thomas Online) is always welcome, however you will need to ensure that you use your online Order ID (generated after checkout) as a deposit reference so we know who the payment is from and what it is for. We will reserve stock for your order for 48 hours, and will pack and despatch your order once payment is received into our account.


Laybuy offers online shoppers a simple interest free payment plan that lets you secure your purchase today and pay for it in 6 equal payments, once a week for 6 weeks. Laybuy performs a credit check to obtain a credit score on all new users upon registration. Once your credit score has been confirmed and your account has been verified, Laybuy assigns your Laybuy limit and you can begin shopping immediately. The first payment equal to one sixth of the purchase price occurs once your order is completed. The remaining 5 payments are processed each week on the day of the original purchase from your nominated card. No further action is required and all account information including a payment schedule can be viewed, at any time, through your Laybuy account. Once you select Pay by Laybuy at checkout and complete your purchase, the merchant/retailer ships any products directly to you at the delivery address you have requested.


Pay for your purchase over 4 instalments, due every two weeks. You’ll pay your first installment at the time of purchase, and the remainder over time. Orders ship as they would with any other form of payment.


Pay just 10% upfront and the rest over 9 weekly payments. Through the Genoapay website you can Log in to track your spending. Change payment day, see upcoming payments and even pay your balance off early with no fees.
