How to Throw:

1. Grasp boomerang by one end and hold it upright. The most curved side (the side with graphics) must face you with the flat side facing away. Otherwise, the boomerang will rotate backward and not generate lift./

2. Hold your boomerang straight up or tilted slightly off to one side. In calm to light wind conditions use more tilt. In higher winds, hold the boomerang so it is straight-up, for a lower, rounder flight./

3. To throw, hold the boomerang between your thumb and forefinger. Snap your wrist a the end of the throw to create spin. Creating a lot of spins is essential for a great throw. Throw straight out or at a slight upward angle, never straight up ./

4. Always throw your boomerang overhand like a baseball for proper flight. Never through side-arm. Throw correctly, your boomerang will fly straight out for a distance, then circle back to you from the left./

5. Always throw in a safe open area away from vehicles, buildings. and trees. Do not throw at people or animals. Adult supervision is recommended./

How to Catch:

The best way to catch a returning boomerang is to trap it between the palms of your hands. Place one hand above and one below your boomerang, then”clap” your hands together, trapping the boomerang between. Keep away from eyes and face. /
